This month’s Powerboat and Rib magazine features a write up on the Humber Attaque by Paul Lemmer which may be of interest for some of you RIB fanatics!

We also hope to have an exciting interview between Powerboat and Rib magazine and Humber Ribs founder Frank Roffee in the coming months as part of our 50th year celebrations.


As we stated yesterday on our social media channels, we have reduced the prices of a number of stock boats on our website Savings up to over £1000 can be made! A number of Ribs ranging from an Assault 4.5 to a Destroyer 6.0 have been part of the reductions.

04/04/2014 - Office Apprenticeship Opportunity

We currently have a role available within our offices to take on an admin/office junior apprentice.

This is a new role designed to help the office progress further and help expand our business. If you live within the Hull region and are interested in this role then please call our office on 01482 226100.

This is a new opportunity which will help the ideal candidate develop a broad range of skills and gain experience within a busy office environment.

The role:
Supporting the main office structure and required to help with weekly production and general office tasks to ensure smooth flow of customers order through the business. You will also be required to assist the buyer and engage in a wide variety of roles.

Job Description will include:

•Answering and re-directing all incoming phone calls.
•Meeting and greeting visitors and clients
•Booking courier collections
•Assisting the team with general everyday office duties including filing, updating records and any other
•Accepting mail deliveries, unpacking and checking purchase orders against deliver notes
•Checking delivery notes against invoices
•Updating sage data
•Making refreshments for team and visitors
•Stock Replenishment and putting deliveries into stores on a daily basis
•Prepare and making up Brochure Packs
•Packing items ready to send out to customers
•Photographing stock for website
•Other responsibilities will be given as the candidate progresses

The ideal candidate shall be enthusiastic and somebody with a confident and friendly personality. Well presented and able to work in a busy office. Must have good telephone manor and communications skills.

Good computer skills are essential. Candidates must have a sound working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel and solid internet skills. The candidate will be expected to upload and maintain items of stock for sale on the new website as well as help answer any website queries. This will be one of the key responsibilities for the successful candidate.

Sage Line 50 and or CAD experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Another key responsibility will be replenishing stock. This includes taking deliveries, unpacking and placing the items into the correct stores ready for use by the factory. This may require some manual handing so ideal candidate must be able to trolley and lift around items of a reasonable weight.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy team environment.

Office Hours 8.00am to 4.30pm. 30mins lunch.
