A Humber Ocean Pro 6.3m RIB manufactured for National Geographic's Society.
The RIB will be used by National Geographic's Pristine Seas Program, a nonprofit organisation spearheading ocean conservation around the world. It's primary purpose will be to deploy and recover scientific equipment in the high seas and will operate from the Exploration Vessel Argo. As well as its primary operation the RIB will also be used for dive application.
National Geographic's most important requirement was to maximise the deck space as much as possible, for this reason the craft has fitted out with one of our smaller one person sports consoles. A removeable tube mounted boarding ladder is also featured, this nifty piece of kit is perfect for saving on deck space and can be moved from port to starboard with a detachable strap.
